Artist/Voice Actor/Video Editor

Hi! Firstly, I would like to thank you for checking out my site. I'm still dipping my toes and learning the ropes when it comes to commissioning and making my own site/portfolio. So as time passes, the better things are gonna get. I'm excited for that.

My name is Rhiannon Martindale - Wetherup, I am a 28 year old self taught/hopeful Artist, Filmmaker and Voice Actor (known for The Catterson Chronicles). I have done artsy things since I was very small, but I took artwork more seriously in the fall of 2012 in the midst of a very difficult time in my life. Painting brought me peace when I needed the most, and I branched off from there. I also have an Etsy shop. I'm also hoping to get my YouTube and Twitch back up and running.

As for film, I've loved movies and TV shows ever since I could remember. I remember watching animated movies and analyzing them. I always wondered about camera work, script writing and everything else involved. I wanted to know everything that goes into making things that could have such a huge impact on peoples lives. Things that could transport people from one world to another so easy and quickly. Things that can make people laugh, cry, love. It's amazing, and I love it. I've been editing in various programs, starting out with Windows Movie Maker and then graduating to Sony Vegas/Adobe After Effects from there for about 10 years now. It started out as a hobby, and then a favor to my mom for help with things like book trailers. If you want to see my much older work for that - her channel is Jodi Lee on YouTube, you can spot them there. I also have experience with Adobe Premiere, though I much prefer Vegas. 

I have also graduated from The Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon as of Feb. 2020, with a degree in Motion Picture Arts. So my experience is only going to climb from here.

I'm hoping this will help get myself out there and branch out a little, I appreciate anyone who would like to join me for the ride! It's gonna be amazing!
